BODIES!

We finally made it! Last night my daughter and I got to see the bodies exhibition. It was very intriguing. The environment was quite morbid but very interesting. Funny, but Hannibal Lector moment of the night was when my daughter was looking at a Vertebrae stem coming out of a skull she looked at me and said "Papi it looks like chicken, it's making me hungry". I said "Okay Princess Lector". She totally enjoyed it. She brought her notepad and was taking notes. It was our second date, and we had a great time. I can so get use to that. Then we went home and both had our favorite dishes. (Chicken Francese from Amici's Rest.) The best! When I am with Kayla we have great conversations. I can't believe i am talking to my little girl. Just the other day she was in my arms as a little baby. One of my parenting goals is not to just be her Father but her friend, and i have been getting the opportunity to do so. Looking forward to many more.

A lady at the exhibit saw the tattoo on my arm and said "it looks like you are doing just that, Leaving A Legacy".

May that always be the truth, one day at a time.

That's awesome! What that lady said must have filled your heart with joy. This times with Kayla are more precious to her than you can imagine. She'll remember all this when she's all grown up.
